Give us your dates, even roughly
The month decides which coast works, which parks are open and whether the train is worth booking. It changes the answer more than anything else you can tell us.
Say what you'd rather skip
More useful than a list of must-sees. "No 5am starts" or "we'd rather not spend a day driving" shapes an itinerary faster than naming ten sites.
Give a budget range if you have one
Where you sleep changes the price more than anything else. A range means the first proposal is close rather than a guess.
